Well, the group he is speaking of is more about the networking and learning that could lead to better ways to do those boxes so they are more self-sufficient cutting back on the maintenance. <3
I know. I just find it challenging to go teach something I do not do myself. 🤣😘 Waffles needs her "relief" grass in the 1st back lot, her "football" field in the 2nd back lot which has also served lots of foster kids for gymnastics, kickball, soccer, baseball, croquet, water play, and the 3rd back lot (and 2nd one too) feeds bunnies, deer, and wild turkeys. The front lot is a bit of grass and mostly natural desert, pine, juniper berry, and some mullin. Our "foodscape" boxes surround the playhouse next to the playground. Next to the ravine is all the apple trees. Our discussion this morning was how to revamp the boxes. Changes are in the making. I want to add grapevines...... our neighbors have input on that idea!😁We shall see......👩🌾👨🌾
@Wind Song Spirit Wasn't aware you wanted to go teach gardening. lol I'd be more interested in the learning part of the networking equation. Or providing the connection for the teachers and learners.
Great idea, however, I would need a lot more helping hands to do more than 5 box gardens I did this past summer as the Little Red Hen...... 🤣🙃😘
